Rain Man

Definitely a good computer programmer... definitely a good programmer.

So the computer leak was Rainman's fault. Nothing like using your autistic brother to sell government secrets to terrorists. That guy should have a nice little niche of hell reserved for him. Notwithstanding, I was a little uncomfortable seeing Jack's sensitive side dealing with Rainman. At one point, you saw how Jack took a moment to reflect upon the loss of his brother. That was a nice touch. However, it clearly did not touch him that much to send Rainman to do the drop. One more thing.... there is one road for the car to drive upon and one sidewalk for Rainman to stand on.... and the sniper with the dart takes up a position in between his target and Rainman. Nice going shooter! Perhaps, next time, you can take a position where you have a concrete wall in between you and the target.

It looks like we are getting geared up for a "legal coup" kind of like a velvet revolution, but, with silk ties and Brooks Brothers suits.

Not much in the way of excitement though.

I don't think the computer leak from Nadia's computer was from Rainman. When I first heard his name "Brady," I thought to myself, what, did he get shot in an attempted assasignation on the president and it made him this way?

And my nomination for the "OH Gawd!" moment of this season goes to the Milo-Nadia kiss. She basically tells him you now have no chance of getting into her pants and yet allows the kiss to go on? Please!

Exactly. It is as if Milo was suddenly transported back to 1962 when you could grab a woman and kiss her like that.

It would have been more fun if CTU had no idea the guy was autistic and did the intial throw against the wall teel me what I need to know routine and then have to deal with the fact that the guy crawls into a shell and cuts off the world.

Where to begin, once again, I found myself picking up the Economist and reading about China and property rights instead of being riveted to the screen. I think the word that comes to mind is the predictable unpredictableness of the show. I told Erika I wanted Nadia to be a mole. I wanted them to just have a connection between Nadia and someone which would have been better then this half hearted attempt at creating romantic tension between two characters we do not care about at all. The writers are forcing something here because they miss the sexual tension of Jack and Nina, Audrey, Kate, Diane and even his wife, Teri, Tony and Michelle, Tony and Nina, Bill and Michelle, etc. They want sex they can't find it in this years story so they force it on us. I would like it more if Silverspoons Denver incident involved Milo and him fighting over Nadia, that would at least make it over the top and fun. Agreed the Kiss was lame, I yelled nobody cares when it happend.

Whitehouse.

Nice exchange between Veep and Dr. I am actually unsure who has control over Presidential medical care but it makes sense that it is family. However, I do know that this upcoming "Coup" is actually a very hazy area of Con Law and while interesting on a legal level would make for really boring TV, so they need to hit the highlights and send the Veep on his way. However I tend to agree with the Veep, the Prez under that medical condition is unfit to make decisions and should be put on the bench.

Nukes, nice brush off of the San Fran thing, minor exposure, wew will deal with it.

I can get you your targets. What does that mean? If the Nuclear plant was the target why launch the first drone to San Fran? Why have the drones at all? This makes no sense, if you have five suitcase nukes that need to be activated, step one, activate the bombs, your guy escapes, activates first nuke, sets it off to avoid capture. Why the hurry to activate the other four? THat has never even been tried to be explained. Gredenko and Fayed could have had numerous times to indicate why the timtable was important, if it was just to stop the peace process that has been stopped by his being framed for the attempted killing of the President. Fayed should say to Gredenko, I have done enough, I am taking my three bombs and waiting for another day and blown him away. It is a big world, there should be no hurry.

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

So Wayne just needs to write a letter to the Senate President and Speaker that he is fine and the issue is dead for this episode. Congress will not meet in the next six hours when it is 1:00 a.m. et right now.

Has there ever been a more inefficient use of 5 suitcase nukes in the history of warfare? We've had 1 detonate in a suburban area. One derailed with the drone and 1 stopped when jack cut the wires. 2 left- with fayeed and gredenko running the show- they appear to be grossly incompetent. They may even detonate themselves-- ha ha.
